Voter Profile

Your Voter Profile allows you to view your voter registration information, your elected officials, your sample ballot, or locate your polling location. 

Register Online

Voters with a current and valid Utah Driver License can register or update their registration online.

Register In Person or By-Mail

Print a paper registration form to complete and return to the Clerk's Office in person or by-mail.   

Registration Requirements

  • Citizen of the United States
  • Resident of Utah for at least 30 days immediately before the election
  • At least 18 years old on the day of the election
  • At least 17 years old for some primary elections if you will be 18 prior to the associated General Election
  • Reside in the voting district or precinct in which the person applies to register to vote

Registration Method and Deadline

The Voter Registration deadline is 11 days before each election.  All voter registration forms must be received by the County Clerk no later than 5:00 pm. 

By Mail Registration
Voter registration forms must be mailed so that they are received by the County Clerk no later than the registration deadline.

In-Person Registration
You may register in-person at the County Clerk's office during regular business hours, usually 8-5, Monday through Friday.

Online Registration
You may register online at Vote.Utah.gov. 

Voters who miss the Registration Deadline may register to vote and vote provisionally in person on Election Day or During Early Voting.
Plan for some extra time at the polling location to fill out paper work, and bring with you Proof of Identity and Proof of Residency. Provisional ID Requirements

Privacy Notice

The list of registered voters is considered public record and available to the general public in Utah. However, Utah law grants protections to voters who wish to not have their information publicly available. "Section 10" of the Voter Registration Form allows for a voter to protect their information from certain parties, while the section below (titled "How do I request additional privacy protection?") discusses additional privacy protections that are available to certain individuals. A few items remain confidential and are never provided to any requester: your social security number, your UT Driver's License number/UT ID number, email address, full date of birth, and your signature.

 

How do I request additional privacy protection?

In addition to the protections outlined in "Section 10" of the Voter Registration Form, you may request that all information on your voter registration records be withheld from all political parties, candidates for public office, and their contractors, employees, and volunteers, by submitting a withholding request form, and any required verification, with this registration form, or to the Office of the Utah Lieutenant Governor or a county clerk.

 

Who can submit a withholding request form?

• A person who is a victim, or is likely to be a victim, of domestic violence or dating violence

• Law enforcement officers

• Individuals protected by protective or protection orders

• Members of the armed forces

• Public figures who have a higher safety risk due to their celebrity status or prominent position (does not include elected officials)

• A person who resides with a person described in the bullet points above.
