Davis County Memorial Courthouse

The renovation of the historic Davis County Memorial Courthouse at 28 East State Street in Farmington is almost complete. A Public Open House will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022, from 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 1:00 pm.

2022 Waste and Recycling Survey


At Wasatch Integrated Waste Management District (Wasatch), we are currently seeking input regarding our trash and recycling services from customers in Morgan and Davis counties. We have developed an online survey asking our customers to share their opinions on and experiences with our services and facilities to shape our Solid Waste Management Plan (SWMP).

The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and will be open until June 15, 2022.

SLFRF Annual Recovery Report

On March 11, 2021, the American Rescue Plan Act was signed into law, and established the Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund and Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Funds, which together make up the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (“SLFRF”) program.

Davis County and USU Botanical Center partner to provide the Davis Heritage Festival in 2022

The new event celebrating the heritage of Davis County replaces the Davis County Fair and will be planned and hosted by the USU Botanical Center. The Davis Heritage Festival will be a family-friendly event held annually in the spring in conjunction with Baby Animal Days. The inaugural Davis Heritage Festival is planned for May 19-21, 2022. The 4-H horse and livestock show will continue as a separate event during its usual summer timeframe and will be held on August 14 and 19-21 this year.

The Emergency Rental Assistance program can help renters who are unable to pay their rent and utilities due to circumstances related to COVID-19. You can apply here starting March 15, 2021.

On June 10th, there will be a Ribbon Cutting and Open House at the Davis County Memorial Courthouse. Citizens are welcome to attend.

Moonlight Bike Ride 2022

Ride across the majestic Antelope Island State Park at night by glow of the bright Summer full moon. This family-friendly, non-competitive bike ride starts at 10 pm (check-in beginning at 7:00 pm) and will take you from White Rock Bay to historic Fielding Garr Ranch and back.
