Hello, Clearfield! I’m Nike. Years ago, I decided to connect with the city where I was raising my children through community service. My journey began by volunteering alongside community leaders to draft a new ten-year plan for our city. This experience led me to a role on the Planning Commission including five years as Chairman, where I gained insights into how a city manages its land and makes crucial decisions regarding its growth. In 2015, I made the decision to run for City Council, firmly believing that women's voices were essential at the policy-making table. Over the past eight years, I’m proud to highlight the following accomplishments: • Consistently supported a well-balanced budget with robust reserves each year. • Currently Chairman and longstanding board member of the North Davis Fire District. • Former Mayor Pro Tem and current Interfaith Representative. • Actively supported initiatives such as the Youth Commission and the CIRCLES anti-poverty program. • Established a reputation for thorough research and the ability to convey complex city issues in a clear and understandable manner. I’m committed to continuing my work in service to Clearfield and its residents, dedicated to making our city an even better place to live, work, and raise our families.

My wife Stephanie and I have enjoyed raising our family here in Layton City. I’m proud to call Layton City my hometown and love the sound of freedom from HAFB. I graduated from Weber State University with a B.S. degree in Supply Chain Management and I am currently the Senior Vice President of Marketing for Lifetime Products, a global manufacturer of consumer goods, located in Clearfield's Freeport Center. I’ve enjoyed my over 30 year career at Lifetime in sales and marketing, including an international assignment in Europe and Asia. I am committed to the residents of Layton City. Prior to my election to the City Council in 2019, I served our community on the Davis Arts Council and as a member of the Layton City Planning Commission. My service on the City Council these last four years has been one focused on public safety, the efficient delivery of municipal services, strengthening our economy and our relationship with HAFB, keeping property taxes in check and our budget balanced without debt, protecting private property rights, and more government transparency. I am proud of what we’ve accomplished in that time and look forward to our plans for the future. Our future is bright!

Hello, for those that don't know me my name is Trent Yarbrough. I have been a resident to West Point all 35 years of my life. I am humbled and proud to be running for City Council. As I have served on the City's Planning Commission for the last 3 years, I have learned my things of government, planning and the importance of community involvement. I have a degree and background in construction, I want to help facility improved infostructure to our city. Safer roads and sidewalks to and from schools, parks and surrounding neighborhoods. I want to help landowners and developers understand the needs of the citizens, when it comes to adding housing and commercial developments. I have fought hard the last 3 years to protect the General Plan and Zoning to weed out high density in areas of the city that they do not belong. I stand for honesty, service, integrity and planned growth. I want to raise my children in West Point, to which I want them to have the same "Home Town Feel" that have kept us all here. I can see what is coming to our city as the pressure for higher density and I want to preserve what the Council and Commission have laid before. I would love to have you support and vote. If you have any questions or want to be heard, feel free to reach out to me. Trent Yarbrough.

Over 35 years, I've witnessed the growth of our beloved city, much like many of you. I've watched the dreams of small business owners materialize, applauded the unwavering dedication of our police and fire departments, and held great admiration for the tireless efforts of our public work teams. Bountiful is an exceptional place we proudly call home, and I'm committed earning the opportunity to represent your voice and concerns. With a background in strategic business development, team alignment, critical thinking, project management, and effective interpersonal skills, I'm equipped with the tools to make a positive impact as a city council member. My four years on the Trails Committee contributed to the Trails Master plan, have deepened my appreciation for our city's diversity and collaboration. If elected, I'll bring that same spirit and dedication to the broader responsibilities of the City Council. 1207 South 400 East Bountiful, Utah 84010

Woods Cross City is a great place to live and I want to keep it that way. Hello, I am Matt Terry and I would be honored to continue representing you on the Woods Cross City Council. I have always lived in South Davis County and have raised my family in Woods Cross for the past 27 years. My wife Jackie and I have 3 wonderful daughters and 3 granddaughters. Public service has always been important to me. For almost 20 years I have had the opportune to serve. I have been appointed or elected to serve on the City’s Board of Adjustments, Planning Commission, Davis County Mosquito Abatement Board, and the past 7 years on the City Council. During my time serving you, Woods Cross has continued to develop a sustainable sales tax base due to our dynamic local businesses. We have experienced unprecedented growth that has brought many challenges as well as many new diverse families and businesses to our city. There is still much to do to ensure that Woods Cross is a safe and welcoming place to raise our children and grandchildren. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the residents of Woods Cross and ask for your continued support.

With the West Davis Corridor coming, we have a unique opportunity to determine our city's direction. My experience as an engineer for the Air Force for eight years and as a public works employee for the City of Provo has given me a deep understanding of the essential operations that keep our city running smoothly. As a city council member, I am confident I can lead Syracuse toward a sustainable and prosperous future. We can make Syracuse the best possible place to live and work with cooperation and dedication.

My husband, Jason and I moved to West Bountiful in 2005. We have thoroughly enjoyed raising our children Bryan, Madison, Emily, and Kennedy in this community. We recently added a son-in-law, Tyler, to our family. As a graduate in child and family studies from Weber State University, I have spent my professional life in education. Through owning my own preschool for twenty years and working for the Davis County School District, I have worked with thousands of students in various capacities since 1994. I have also spent many years serving the students of our city through PTA and Community Council. I am currently chair of Viewmont High’s Community Council, and have also been Council chair at both West Bountiful Elementary and Bountiful Junior High. I served two years as PTA President at West Bountiful Elementary. Living in West Bountiful is a privilege! My desire as a city council member is to support those who work each day caring for and improving our city neighborhoods. I will strive to be supportive, act proactively and defend appropriately according to city codes. I ask for your vote so I can represent you as a West Bountiful City council member.

As a Council Member, I have worked hard to preserve the welfare, safety, and quality of life for those living in Fruit Heights. Understanding the importance of balancing the City’s funds with the city’s needs is paramount to maintaining the City we all love. In my years of serving - first as a Planning Commissioner and then as a Councilmember, I have developed an understanding of our finances, emergency preparedness, land use/planning, and state laws. This “institutional knowledge” can help us minimize our spending and can serve as a reminder of our citizen’s goals and desires. Serving on the Council is an opportunity to listen to you and incorporate your ideas as we strive to maintain our sense of community - while working within state statutes. Many years ago, I presented the idea to the City Council of obtaining Forest Service land that could be used for a cemetery as well as recreation for our citizens. Through much work with other elected officials, our City was able to buy 100 acres of land for $1. Now its time to work on getting a cemetery at a reasonable cost. I would be honored to serve you and always welcome your thoughts

"I have lived in North Salt Lake for 18 years and love NSL! As a Council Member I’ve been committed to make it a better place in which to raise a family. I am married and am the proud father of three children. I have served our city for 10 years, two with the City Council and Eight on the Planning Commission including three years as Commission Chair. I have spent my career as a city planner. As a Council Member and in my career I have been committed to making communities better places to live. I am the Deputy Director at Wasatch Front Regional Council (WFRC), a civic organization that is guided by a council of Mayors and County Commissioners from across the Wasatch Front. At WFRC we collaborate with communities to address the challenges that stem from a growing population: meeting housing needs, addressing traffic and transportation, creating economic opportunities, and ensuring we have great places to play and recreate. I also teach in the College of Architecture + Planning at the University of Utah, where I was recognized as a Distinguished Alumni. I have served twice as the chapter president of the American Planning Association Utah Chapter."

Bountiful is the best city in Utah. From our pay-as-you-go philosophy, to our finances, neighborhoods, recreational opportunities, volunteerism, to the way we plow our snow, Bountiful just does things right. Our tradition of careful budgeting, insightful leadership and quality services started decades ago and has been carried on by city councils through the years. Continuity in our city council has allowed us to avoid the crisis-a-day style of management we see at other levels of government where divisive issues rule elections and cooperation for the good of residents is absent. I thank you for the privilege of serving you on the city council. During my time I have worked to continue the tradition of bringing quality services to residents while increasing city parks, trails and other amenities...all while maintaining Bountiful's regular ranking in the Top Five Lowest Taxes and Fees cities as ranked by the Utah Taxpayer's Association. I have a great record of success working with other council members and city staff to maintain what we have and to bring exciting new opportunities to Bountiful, including fiber internet. With your continued support I will continue to serve in the Bountiful way. I ask for your vote in November.

My name is Paul Watson and I have had the privilege of serving on the Syracuse City Council for the past two years. My wife, Allison, and I have lived in Syracuse for 16 years and love raising our two children here. I have a BS in Marketing/Economics from Utah State University. Ten years ago, I started and have since been running my own property management company and now have an office in Syracuse. I feel I offer a level head and common sense when evaluating the challenges that face our city. I believe we need council members who will listen to citizens, exercise fiscal responsibility, and protect private property rights within our city. The West Davis Highway will offer new opportunities and challenges for our city. I will work toward preserving commercially zoned land for new businesses in the city. I’ll make sure that high density developments don’t exploit our Mixed Use Zone and bring in apartments with little to no commercial aspect to the development. I will continue to work toward achieving a balanced budget each fiscal year. I have enjoyed serving the citizens and look forward to the opportunity to ensure our City has a bright future.

My name is Austin Gray. First and foremost, I’m a father of four and a husband to my beautiful wife. I value family, education, emergency preparedness, and community. I’m a Clinton native, attended Davis School District schools, and love raising my family here. As a teenager, I served on the city youth council. At an early age, this instilled in me the desire to serve my community and make a difference by helping others and having pride in my community.
For the last ten years, I have been a paramedic for Gold Cross Ambulance. I have a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Services and a Master of Business Administration, and I am currently working on a Doctorate Degree in Public Administration. All of which will give me the skills and knowledge to work effectively and efficiently as a city council member. I plan to add to the community council with my background and passion for emergency preparedness, parks and recreation, public works, and ensuring economic stability. I want to help increase a sense of community and pride in Clinton City. I want to see more progress while maintaining and honoring the heritage of our wonderful city.

I am running for City Council because I desire to have a positive impact on the quality of life of our city’s residents, both today and in the future. I want to ensure that our Local Government remains unimpacted by the partisan political atmosphere we see in The Media today. My background and leadership capabilities will bring Bountiful into the future while honoring our culture.
My common sense approach to decision making has been honed by over 15 years in Military Submarine Service and diverse, complex jobs. In my current role as an Engineering Manager, I leverage my skills to lead 17 staff and maintain a budget of over $40 million. I will use those same skills for Bountiful City.
With a background in Electrical Distribution, Water Systems, Networks, and General Construction; I understand virtually all aspects of our city’s operations. For larger issues such as the Western US Water Crisis, I will be an effective and conscious representative for our city at the county and state levels. As an Outdoorsman and homeowner, I can provide insight and solutions for our city that protect our precious resources while not burdening our residents.

Raised and educated in Layton, my commitment to family and community began at an early age, watching my grandparents, parents, neighbors, and mentors work together on family farms in West Layton. Supporting each other through hard work and common aspirations so all had the opportunity to succeed. I attended Layton Elementary, Central Davis Jr. High, Layton High School and graduated from Weber State University. My wife and I have raised three children in Layton and each has graduated from the University of Utah and are working in business, non-profit and academia. I have a lifetime of experience in agriculture and over 40 years professional experience in government services, industrial construction and manufacturing, affordable housing development, and environmental and water conservation. I have been a leader in my church and a local educational and philanthropic organization providing scholarships for post-high school education and supporting local non-profit healthcare organizations. I strive to educate himself on the matters at hand by seeking advice from industry experts, stakeholders, and individuals, all with the goal to come to the most balanced and versatile solution. In my free time, I enjoys working on my family farm, traveling, and fishing at Utah’s lakes.

My education, training, and career provide useful skills that benefit the City. I obtained a B.A. in Communications, Journalism from BYU in 1994, and then graduated from BYU's law school in 1998. I am a shareholder at Parr Brown Gee & Loveless, where I have worked since September of 1999. I work in areas of construction, real estate, contracts, development and entitlement, land use, landlord/tenant, and probate/estate litigation. Most of the skills in these areas prove helpful in serving on the City Council. For the past few years, I have been the Youth City Council liaison. I strive to make sure we are providing market-based pay and support for key City positions, such as city manager, police chief, public works directors, and golf director/pro. We have tremendous talent in each of these positions. You can find more information about me and my re-election campaign at the website "ahlstrom4wbcc.com."

Hello, I'm Dakota Wurth. Born in Bountiful, raised in Layton, now homeowner in Clearfield, I’m Davis County through and through. I'm running to give a voice to everyone who calls Clearfield home, and to provide a truly fresh perspective in local government. I believe I have the tools and experience to be an effective leader in this community. To put it simply, I understand how government works, and the issues this city faces, especially when it comes to housing. As an esteemed member of the Davis & Weber County Governments, I've been in the room where the action happens, and I’m excited to bring that experience & focus on action to Clearfield. I proudly stand as a founding member of the Weber County Diversity Committee, a testament to how strongly I feel that everyone deserves a seat at the table. Today, I’m the dedicated Housing Coordinator for the Davis County Government managing/administering affordable housing programs. This campaign is truly about one thing; building a stronger Clearfield for all. While focusing on economic development, creating stronger community spaces, and innovative water conservation, I believe we will do just that. Join me in making Clearfield THE place to be in Davis County.

Hello! Wow, I can't believe that almost six years have come and gone. I'd like to share with you why I'd like to continue serving you and our city. When I originally ran for City Council, I wanted to be a voice for residents. I felt that I wasn't being heard and that more attention was given to developers/businesses/ and potential residents than current. As I've served on the City Council, I have worked hard to provide the approach of responsible growth. I take into consideration the effects of growth on our current residents. Our resources and infrastructure can only support so much. I've learned that our city doesn't run on property taxes, but runs off sales tax, so it is important to keep that in mind when we are deciding to approve a development. More rooftops mean more strain on our water, streets, sewers, and public safety. I'm committed to standing up for a balance of growth while keeping you and your family in mind. I believe in transparency with our residents and honest answers. I have an open-door policy and am happy to meet with you. Please check out my website. I ask for your continued support. Thank you!

I have lived in Kaysville City for about 30 years. I have witnessed a lot of changes. I have a real passion for the city and have worked hard to try and keep it as Utah's Hometown. I feel like a city has a responsibility to provide the core services to its residences such as water, sewer, power, streets, police and fire protection. I believe these things should be provided in a very responsible and fiscal manner. I also believe that our downtown, parks, recreation, trails and open space help build a strong community. I have always had to live on a budget, and I believe a city should live on one also. I have always taken the responsibility of spending your tax dollars as my hardest and highest priority. My 34 years working for Kaysville City and 4 years on the council have shown me how much your community means to you, and I will do my best to keep this Utah's Hometown.

I am serving as a Clinton City Councilman for the remainder of 2023 after being appointed by the Council in June. I was selected from a group of 14 highly qualified individuals due, in part, to my vast experience as a business leader which is something Clinton City critically needs during the transition to a new City Manager. Clinton is also currently faced with formulating a plan to solve the current budget challenges, which is an area I possess great expertise. During my short time on the Council, I have provided a new perspective on many topics and have had multiple opportunities to utilize my mediation skills to help the Council reach the sought after common ground where not everyone gets their own way, but everyone can accept the outcome. I believe I will continue to add great value to the Council if elected to serve a full term.

I have resided with my family in Syracuse for over 17 years. We have lived in three different residences in the city and are grateful to call Syracuse home. During recent years, I have been active in local affairs, including serving four years on the Planning Commission (three terms as Chairman). This experience has allowed me to meet with citizens, landowners, business owners and city staff regarding the challenging matters which impact our city. I have been able to lead public meetings which wrestled with these issues. I understand the need to carefully listen to and evaluate the viewpoints of all involved when reaching conclusions which touch our citizens. I am committed to serving the best interests of the community and ensuring the City Council provides the best results possible. We have a bright future in Syracuse. To be successful, we need to have balanced business and residential growth, good fiscal policy and compromise. My experience with our citizens, city staff and elected officials has shaped my belief that we have excellent people who are committed to the well-being of our community. I believe I can help the good progress that has already been made to continue. Vote Brett Cragun!

Bountiful is awesome! The community provides a great place to raise a family. Residents enjoy many fun and culturally uplifting events sponsored by the city and community leaders. Bob will continue to develop a lasting culture of community involvement from the city council including the many volunteer service projects that unite and benefit Bountiful. Vote for Bob to carry forward the positive efforts of previous city leaders and build bridges from our city heritage towards the future. Bob is an experienced telecommunications business developer and engineer who understands the challenges associated with owning and operating a fiber network. Bob’s election to the City Council provides experience and expertise ensuring community concerns are heard, understood, and resolved while the city builds out the new fiber optic network. Bob listens to community voices and understands problems from their perspective. Bob supports and will initiate efforts to improve the quality of life for senior citizens by prioritizing services and facilities that increase social interactions, family connections, exercise, and mental health benefits. Bob will protect citizen’s rights, support law enforcement, and review all city expenditures through the eyes of the taxpayer as a fiscal conservative.

I am a devoted mother of four children and have lived in Farmington city for five years. As I moved with my family to several different states and cities before landing in Farmington, my opinion of what makes a strong family community has evolved to a desire to contribute and serve in a strong family community. I love this city and all it offers, and want to continue to increase the support and amenities for young families as Farmington continues to grow. I have been blessed to see my parents serve in different capacities like state legislature, nursing board at the University, parent teacher organizations and many more. They have taught me the importance of giving back to your community and contributing time and effort to make it a better community. There are so many families like mine in Farmington where the kids outnumber the adults in the home. I am running for city council to ensure that the city our children live in continues to enrich their lives. I want to fight for families like mine, that are just beginning to grows roots, to find more opportunities to participate in a strong and safe community.

My wife, Teri and I have been a part of the West Point Community since arriving here in 1977. We have raised our five children with the help of the West Point community family and values. I have served on the board of directors of MADD , ( Mosquito Abatement District-Davis, 2 years as President), North Davis Fire District, Davis County Library, and serve as the City Council liason to the West Point Arts Council.
I believe we need to continue to promote the Quality of Life Values for West Point Citizens , so that our children and grandchildren can live here and enjoy those same values as they raise their families. Goals: Fiscal accountability and continuing to stay within budget. A new public works facility, to replace the temporary facility. Promote the Community Arts Council Planned growth, both residential and commercial. Expand Recreation opportunities for all ages Pickle ball courts for our citizens to enjoy.
I have enjoyed the opportunity to serve and represent the citizens of West Point. I would appreciate your vote to allow me to continue to represent West Point City as your City Council Representative. I believe the City is only as good as the citizens and our city is Great!

"I find the work on the city council to be interesting, engaging, and incredibly important. Some may point to state or national politics for the important issues, but I have found that how you feel about your home, streets, parks, and public safety has the biggest impact on your sense of well-being. At the city level, I can make a meaningful difference on these issues. I want to complete our decennial General Plan update, implement our trails master plan, and realize the Bountiful Fiber network among the important issues on Bountiful’s horizon.
Professionally, I’m the Director of Government Affairs for the law firm of Holland & Hart and oversee an eight-state program for the firm. I’m a graduate of Westminster College, Muir Elementary, Mueller Park Jr. High, and Bountiful High School. I serve on the board of directors for the following organizations: Lakeview Hospital; Utah Outdoor Adventure Commission; Utah League of Cities & Towns; Westminster Honors College Advisory Board, and the South Davis Recreation District. I am a life-long Republican and have served as a precinct chair & delegate.
My husband, Michael O’Connor, teaches at Viewmont High School. As a family, we are avid campers, mountain bikers, skiers, and hikers. "

I love living in Farmington. We moved here in 2002 and Farmington has enhanced the quality of life for me and my family. On the city council I have worked to ensure the safety of our community. I have done this by being the liaison with first responders to better understand their needs. I am an advocate for you and have on several occasions been able to help resolve safety concerns by listening to you and working with the city to get it resolved. Farmington has over 150 miles of trails. I served on the trails committee for three and half years and love all the different kinds of trails that we have access to. I am an advocate for trails and open space because they encourage healthy lifestyles. With patience and persistence I have pushed for pedestrian access over Park Lane. The project is now funded and we should see construction start in 2024! Please visit my website www.amyshumway.com to learn more about my journey. See you on the trails or pickleball courts! Vote for Amy!

As a candidate for Wood Cross city council, I offer the qualifications needed to address our pressing concerns. With 21 years in financial services, I bring expertise in budgeting and fiscal responsibility. As a father of two, I am committed to securing a prosperous future for our families. I am deeply troubled by rising local taxes and unchecked spending evident in recent budgets. Additionally, I will advocate for fair and just enforcement of city codes, eliminating unnecessary regulations. Together, let's build a more efficient and responsive local government for the betterment of our community.

My main motivation for running is to contribute to the community with no personal agenda for the city. I do, however, have the desire to listen, hear, understand and advocate for the people of Farmington about the issues we face here and to address them constitutionally. I stand strong in my commitment to serve the people of Farmington in those ways and to encourage transparency as a city government. I'm confident my contribution as a member of Farmington City Council will be welcomed and valuable because the same principles I will uphold in office, have upheld our nation, and will do the same for households and families, when applied. I have met Mayor Anderson, City Manager Mellor and a few of the incumbents and am thrilled to possibly be serving with such honorable people. I love our God, my family and our Farmington and pledge to serve them well. I look forward to meeting each of you. To arrange a group meeting, please go to my website to learn more.

I have been a resident of West Point for over 18 years, raising my family here. My wife and I have raised 4 kids here, we love our small community. I have watched the city change and have tried my best to help guide the city into a great future. Being on the Planning Commission for the last 12 years and the Chairman for over two years, I have tried my best to make developments stay with our small town, close-knit feel. I have voted against the change in city code to allow developers the ability to apply to change the General Plan, and I have voted against every General Plan change submission after its approval. Our city should develop our general plan, between our elected, appointed officials, and residents, not developers. I have done my best as a Planning Commissioner and want to help make a difference for our community with my vote counting. Please help me by Voting For Strong Values, a Strong Voice, and a Strong Future.

My name is Zach Bloxham and it is an honor to serve you and your family on the Layton City Council. I am married to my wife Kayla, and we have four children. Professionally, I am an attorney, working closely with the elderly, those with special needs, and our veterans. My profession allows me to interact with many of our community’s most vulnerable, heroic, and forgotten members and I am better for it. Our world and city have changed quite a bit since I was first elected four years ago. Despite the challenges, we have accomplished important things as a city. We balanced our budget; we’ve never raised taxes; we said no to any new debt; we increased funding for our police; we made historic investments in water and conservation; we began live streaming our meetings; we opened new parks, pickleball courts, and improved trails; we made infrastructure improvements throughout the city; and we maintain healthy reserves for any eventuality. I strive to keep Layton the best place to live, work, recreate, and raise a family. You can learn more about my candidacy at zachbloxham.com, where I also explain every vote I take. Leslie Clark has lived in North Salt Lake for seven years with her husband and three children. After living in many other cities in Utah during her childhood and college years, she loves that her family has settled in North Salt Lake.
She received her Ph.D in Counseling Psychology from Brigham Young University after completing an internship at Southern Utah University. She currently works as a part-time instructor at Ensign College (formerly LDS Business College.)
Leslie frequently volunteers at Foxboro Elementary, where her two younger children attend school. She has loved the opportunity to interact with other members of the community through this volunteer work.
She is running for city council because she believes that her educational background and experience make her uniquely qualified to help the city of North Salt Lake continue to be a great place to live for current residents, as well as a welcoming environment for new residents. She believes this is possible through making responsible choices about the use of resources in the community. As a city council member, she will work hard to make sure the citizens of North Salt Lake feel heard and supported as the city grows toward a bright future.

As your North Salt Lake City Councilwoman candidate I want to listen to you because I feel passionately that my job is to represent you. I have lived in North Salt Lake for 20 years and have raised 5 children in this wonderful community. I have enjoyed working side by side with you, my friends and neighbors. I have an interest in maintaining our city culture that I know and love as well as progressing economic development and growth. I believe in fostering a sense of community where every voice is heard because I truly care about each person that I speak with. As a councilwoman, I want to focus on a fiscally responsible budget, smart urban planning and fostering a sense of community. Simply put, I want to make a positive difference in our city.
