Commissioner John Crofts is a long-term resident of Davis County, where he raised his three wonderful children and built a deep commitment to community, service, and voter-first leadership. Elected as a Davis County Commissioner in 2024, he is
dedicated to government transparency, fiscal responsibility, and ensuring the electorate remains actively involved in county governance.
John holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Brigham Young University. His professional career spans natural hazards, emergency management, public safety, and government operations, where he has worked closely with federal, state, and local agencies.
Crofts is a strong advocate for business, free enterprise, and leveraging community resources. John recognizes that we are living on the foundations built by those who came before us and is committed to ensuring that Davis County’s best days are still ahead.
John’s mission as Commissioner is to put voters first, protect Davis County’s values, and ensure our county remains a great place to raise a family, work, and live. He believes that each generation has a responsibility to leave Davis County better than we found it, and he is dedicated to working alongside residents to make sure the county is even stronger for future generations.
