Signs and Symptoms of STDs
Many people with STDs have no symptoms; however, some do.
Women may have:
- An unusual discharge or odor from the vagina and/or rectum
 - Abdominal/pelvic pain
 - Bleeding from the vagina that is not a regular period
 - Pain with sexual intercourse
 
Men may have:
- A drip or discharge from the opening of the penis and/or rectum
 - Pain and/or swelling in the prostate or testicles
 
Women and Men may have:
- Sores, bumps, blisters, itching, swelling on or near the sex organs, rectum or mouth, and swollen glands
 - Burning/pain or bleeding when urinating or having a bowel movement
 - Frequent urination
 - Pain, swelling, or redness in the throat
 - Flu-like symptoms (i.e. fever, aches, and chills)
