South Davis Senior Activity Center in Bountiful serves a wide range of seniors from Farmington, Woods Cross, North Salt Lake, West Bountiful and Centerville who have arthritis pain.  Davis County has provided training and have incorporated classes 2 times per week with 8 - 10 participants at our center.  Our focus is to educate members on pain relief and  management. The center also offers balancing and caregiver classes along with our other various activities.  Blood Pressure is offered 2 times per month to accommodate our seniors. 

The North Davis Senior Activity Center in Clearfield, Utah, serves seniors in Clearfield, northern Layton, South Weber, Syracuse, Clinton, Sunset, and West Point.

Some of the opportunities we offer include lunch each week day, exercise, recreation, transportation, health screenings, nutritional supplements, and social services. The center is open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays.

Formerly known as the Autumn Glow Senior Activity Center. Central Davis Senior Activity Center was built in 1991 and began serving seniors in the Layton, Kaysville, Fruit Heights, Farmington, and Centerville areas. Central Davis Senior Center serves hot meals and more than 120 home-delivered meals each week day. They offer a variety of classes, trips, fun activities, volunteer opportunities, entertainment, and physical activity opportunities.

Hours:Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

The SMP program empowers seniors through increased awareness and understanding of healthcare programs, and how to recognize instances or patterns of health care fraud. This knowledge helps them to protect themselves from the economic and health-related. consequences of Medicare and Medicaid fraud, error and abuse.

In-Home Senior Services Programs provide home care services for those at risk of premature placement into a Nursing Home. Assistance is also provided to individuals transitioning from one care setting to another.Eligibility criteria for these services include age consideration, medical condition, and meeting financial requirements

Homemaker Services provide housekeeping services for those at risk of premature placement into a Nursing Home. Eligibility criteria for these services include age consideration, medical condition, and meeting financial requirements.

The "Senior Living" is a monthly supplement included in the fourthThursday's issue of the month in the "Davis Clipper" newspaper. The supplement is produced by the Davis County Health Department's Senior Services and is published for and about the active generation of Davis County.
